Welcome to our 2025 College All-America Team, which lists the top performers at every position among Jewish athletes playing Division 1 baseball. The squad includes 8 position players and 8 pitchers. The University of Pittsburgh is the only school with more than one player. Seven of the All-Americans hail from California, while Texas, New York, and New Jersey each claim two.
Two of the 16 College All-Americans were selected in last week’s MLB draft. The Red Sox chose SS Henry Godbout (University of Virginia) in Round #2C (75nd overall). The Guardians picked LHP Ryan Prager (Texas A&M University) in Round #9 (282nd overall).
The player stats shown below reflect both regular-season games and College World Series games.

POSITION PLAYERS
1B Jordan Jaffe (U. of Richmond) pieced together an outstanding season for the Spiders, batting .364 (#2 among teammates) on 79/217, clubbing 10 homers (#3), driving in 59 runs (#3), swiping 5/9 bases, cracking 19 doubles (#2 tie), and defending at .993 (398 putouts, 26 assists, 3 errors) while being named All-Atlantic 10 Conference, 1st-team.
Our classy second sacker, 2B Henry Godbout (U. of Virginia), batted .309 (#3 among teammates) on 59/191 for the Cavaliers, unloaded 8 dingers (#5), batted in 37 runs (#5), spanked 10 Ds (#4), stole 6/11 bags, and defended at .974 (66/123/5) while starting all 50 games. Henry was named All-ACC, 2nd team. The Red Sox picked him in Round 2C (#75 overall) of the 2025 MLB Draft.
With our team lacking a single full-time shortstop at the D-1 level, it provided us with the opportunity to include a superior D-II player, SS Noah Rabin of Florida Southern U. (38-15-1), who led the Moccasins with a .360 b.a. on 54/150, clouted 8 four-baggers, drove in 43 runs, swiped 12/14 bases, and posted a .620 slugging percentage. Noah was named All-Sunshine State Conference, 1st-team.
Holding court at the hot corner is 3B Ryan Zuckerman, who batted .295 (#4 among teammates) on 65/220 while leading the U. of Pittsburgh Panthers (28-27) with 13 home runs, 48 rbis, 18 Ds, and a .555 slugging percentage. Ryan will relocate to Georgia Tech for his junior year.
Working behind home plate is Leopards (14-35) receiver C Ethan Swidler (Lafafyette College), who batted .331 (#2 among teammates) on 59/178, posted 5 round-trippers (#3), drove in 33 runs (#3), and led his team with 14 Ds and a .494 slugging percentage while defending at .981 (365/38/8). Ethan was named All-Patriot League, 1st-team, and will play his senior year with the U. of Washington Huskies.
Our outfield begins with OF Ellis Schwartz (George Washington U.), who must be wondering: “What does a guy have to do to make all-conference?” Ellis led the Colonials in batting with a .346 b.a. on 72/208, homers with 9, rbis with 45, and slugging with .582, while collecting 16 Ds (#2) and fielding at .993 (139/1/1).
OF Ethan Hott (Stanford U.), a junior from Paradise Village, AZ, batted .342 (#2 among teammates) for the Cardinals on 40/117 to go with 3 homers, 25 rbis, 3/4 SBs and a 1.000 fielding percentage (83/1/0) while starting 35/39 games.
OF Sam Biller, a grad student at U. of Connecticut, recorded a .296 b.a. on 59/199, went yard 13 times (#3 among teammates), cashed in 60 runs (#3), rocked 14 Ds (#2), pilfered 26/29 bases (#2), and fielded at .980 (96/3/2) while starting 53/58 games.
STARTING PITCHERS
Our three-man starting rotation includes LHP Ryan Prager, a junior at Texas A&M (30-25) from Dallas, TX, who went 4-4 with a 4.21 ERA in 83.1 IPd (#1 among teammates) across 15 starts. Ryan was named the Southeast Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The Guardians selected him in Round 9 (#282 overall) of the 2025 MLB Draft.
RHP Dylan Banner, a junior at SUNY Albany from Plainview, NY, closed at 5-5 with a fine 3.82 ERA in 94.1 IPd, walking 14 and fanning 68 along the way. Dylan was named All-America East Conference, 1st team.
LHP Jake Toporek, a senior at Wagner (31-22) from Dana Point, CA, put together an outstanding season, leading his team with an 8-1 record, 3.49 ERA, and 87.2 IPd across 14 starts and one relief appearance. Jake was named All-Northeast Conference, 1st-team.
LONG RELIEVERS
LHP Adam Arther (Kansas State U.), a sophomore from Altadena, CA, went 2-0 with a sparkling 2.45 ERA (#1 among teammates) in 25.2 IPd, making 20 relief appearances along with one start and earning one save.
RHP Alex Kranzler, a sophomore at Vanderbilt U. (43-18) from Hackensack, NJ, finished at 6-1 with a 3.62 ERA in 37.1 IPd, walked 7 batters, fanned 40, and earned 3 saves.
CLOSER
Our closer is LHP Ethan Firoved (U. of Pittsburgh), a senior from Virginia Beach, VA., who went 3-4 with a 3.86 ERA (#1 among teammates) in 23 relief appearances and tallied a team-leading 8 saves. Ethan was named All-Region, 2nd-team, by the American Baseball Coaches Association.
