Hitter of the Week: Scott Manea (Astros)

C Scott Manea (Astros/High-A/Fayetteville Woodpeckers) hit .360 (9-for-25) with a home run, 10 RBIs, and a .448 OBP, boosting his batting average by 37 points. He was hit by pitches 4 times, including 3 times alone on May 16. Three different pitchers struck Manea in that game, once with the bases loaded.

P Dean Kremer (Orioles/High-A/Frederick Keys) pitched beautifully in his second outing of the season, tossing 6 shutout innings on 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 9.
