Oh-no. Only two MOTs played last night, and they went a collective 0-for-8.
Kevin Pillar‘s batting woes continued as the Toronto Blue Jays were blasted by the visiting NY Yankees, 12-2. Pillar was 0-for4. He will be making a donation to two Toronto-area LGBTQ organizations as an apology for his use of an anti-gay slur last month, according to media reports.
Same deal for Danny Valencia in the Seattle Mariners’ 6-3 loss to the visiting Colorado Rockies, although he did drive in a run on a sacrifice fly.
C’est tout. Richard Bleier did not appear for the Baltimore Orioles in their 7-5 win over the visiting Boston Red Sox and Craig Breslow did not get into the Minnesota Twins’ 4-2 win over the host LA Angels.
Ian Kinsler, Ryan Braun, and Joc Pederson remain on the DL.
Have a great weekend.
